Started by someone who
sold these machines
for a living.
Front Range CNC was founded by Andrew Townsend, who spent years in the industrial CNC world — selling production routers to shops just like yours. Then he went past the sales floor: bought a used machine, did his own service work, and cut real jobs.
He learned the operator’s side — tooling, vacuum, feeds and speeds, the errors that stop a shift — not just the spec sheet. Front Range is what came out of that: build and support a CNC router the way an operator, a service tech, and a business owner would actually want it built.

I started Front Range because I watched good shops get priced out by badges and nickel-and-dimed by add-ons. I knew the machines could be better than that — and so could the people who stand behind them.
