The compression router bit is the ideal choice when working with materials that have a tendency to tear. This includes plywood, melamine, hardwoods, and others. The unique design incorporates an up-flute on the bottom edge and a down-flute on the top edge to ensure you are always cutting the material inwards and thus preventing tearout.
The 3/8″ compression bit is the standard for most cabinet programs and nested plywood jobs that require full-depth of cut in plywood up to 3/4″ thick.
Rainbow coating allows the router bit to better dissipate heat and maintain a sharp cutting edge longer.
All of our router bits come standard with rainbow coating as we feel the benefits translate directly into your end parts.
